Bitpanda is a Bitcoin broker that specializes in buying and selling Bitcoins within the Eurozone. The company was founded in late 2014 and since has grown to become on of the more popular options to purchase Bitcoins around Europe. People outside of Europe can only sell their coins on Bitpanda but not buy.
Bitpanda trades Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash and Litecoin.
Bitpanda’s exchange rate is higher than your average exchange due to the fact that they allow you to buy Bitcoins with methods that allow chargeback (i.e. credit cards, Skrill, etc.). But they have relatively low fees and has good support going on.

This unique site offers seller and buyers from around the world to meet and trade Bitcoins in a 1 to 1 fashion. It’s like the Craigslist for buying and selling Bitcoin.
Because of the nature of buyers and sellers interacting with each other without some sort of middle man, the type of payments are much broader than the other places listed above. Payment methods include:
- Wire transfer
- Western Union
- Account to account payments (ie. Chase Quickpay)
Remember since you are dealing with people in a 1 to 1 fashion, the type of seller you pick to deal with is crucial. Make sure to look for reputable sellers by looking at the seller’s transaction history and see how he/she did in the past. These are the type of things to look for:
- Has traded over 100BTC in his lifetime with a minimum of 100 trades
- Has a feedback score of at least 98%
- Has an account for more than 1 year
- Is a verified seller (phone number, email, company account)
- Is trusted by at least 10 people
